The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s novel under the same title. It is the story of Charlie, a fifteen year-old boy who struggles with the ups and downs of high school and growing up. The story is a roller coaster ride of adventures to be explored and dreams to be realized.
The Pirouette Movement is an advocacy project spearheaded by Enye, the graduating batch of BS Interior Design under the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines – Diliman. Two underserved dance institutions, the Quezon City Performing Arts Development Foundation, Inc. (QCPADFI) and Dance Forum, will be given their urgently needed interior renovations. QCPADFI is an organization that seeks out gifted and artistically inclined children from among Quezon City’s marginalized sector, and provides them with free training in the traditional performing arts. Dance Forum is a hub for Philippine contemporary dance, a venue for independent Filipino dancers to train and showcase their craft. These institutions were chosen because The Pirouette Movement believes in the power of culture in the cultivation of nationalism and patriotism.
