Peak Performance: Burn Those Unwanted Fats!


‘Tis the season of tasty foods. And for us Filipinos, that means lots and lots of eating at endless Christmas parties, followed by weight gain and our ever favorite New Year’s resolution to lose weight.


Let’s face it: the holidays can wreak havoc on our fitness plans – from your Tita’s homemade lumpiang shanghai to your workmate’s five-star fruit salad. Surely, most of us will fall prey to the holiday feast.

With so many different training styles and proclaimed miracle workouts, it’s sometimes hard to sort through the nonsense and figure out which style is best for you. But guess what…you don’t have to worry about that because they’ll create your workout for you!

Unlike regular “bakal” gyms where you have to either figure things out for yourself or spend a lot of money hiring a fitness trainer, Peak Performance knows how to get you to burn the holiday fat you’ve been worrying about since the start of the ‘ber months through their accredited Fitness Coach. The fun thing is: the coach already comes with the workout! 


I have to say: their coaches are very approachable and really help you in whatever fitness dilemma you’re having. It was never hard for me to ask for tips on what to eat and what not to eat. They’re really into helping you achieve your fitness goals. 


They have a lot of branches here in the South where you can enroll: Biñan, Laguna; Elorde, Sucat, Parañaque; National Road, Muntinlupa; and BF Resort, Las Piñas—this is where I went since this is closest to home. 


Trust me: I’ve enrolled myself in a LOT of gyms and by far this is the best one I’ve been to because they really understand and know what I need and what I am capable of when it comes to the workouts. 


I really recommend that you try Peak Performance, especially if you’re a serious athlete, a weekend warrior, or a first-timer at Functional Movement Training like me!
