“Paint Buffet”

I so love their paint buffet, because doing artwork at home, you sometimes tend to economize your paint. But here at Sip and Gogh, you can get paint on different colors as much as you need it.

Let’s paint now! Ready, set,  Gogh!

In starting the session, you can choose whether you’ll have a model painting or decide on your own subject and go freestyle!

Choose your prototype.  If you are a newbie in painting or simply have nothing in mind to work on as your subject, Sip and Gogh has a wide array of artworks that you can clone. With the help of their resident artists, who are friendy indeed,  you can definitely make something that you wouldn’t thought you can do…

My friend Lil, whose a beginner in this type of art, chose the cherry blossom artwork to be her model painting…

During the whole session, the artists assigned to us helped us in blending colors, and techniques on how to finish it. So kudos to the artist! They made Lil an instant painter!

Go Freestyle. Since I wanted something different to do (and I hate patterns and rules) , I decided to create my own subject and did my own sketch. Maybe going freestyle will be okay for the ones who does painting even before  (but yeah! no rules, just do whatever you want!)

It was a great feeling for me to reunite with my first love, painting. I have never done this for the longest time because of work. At first, I was a bit anxious in doing this because of the thought that I might not finish my work as I wanted it… But a tap from Sir Carlo, one of the owners, gave me a GO! He reminded me again that when it comes to painting, there is no right or wrong, no rules. All you have to do is free your mind, express yourself with colors and strokes, and this is how relaxation happens…
