Doctor Ed de la Vega, Manny Pacquiao’s Dentist, received a lot of comments after posting a photo on his Twitter page @Mouthgrds4Champ.
He captioned it with “Guess who gets to use this on April 9th?” with the hashtag #PacBradley.
He later said that it was not an issue and that there was no intent of Pacman using the said mouthguard.
He then posted a photo of the real mouth piece that Pacquiao was going to use for the fight on April 9.
The doctor is also a contributor for Philboxing.com and wrote about the conversation he had with Bobby Pacquiao. Bobby relayed a message to Dr. Ed from Manny regarding the previous design of the mouthguard. Manny wanted a different design since the MP logo was affiliated with Nike. Nike ended their contract with the People’s Champ last February after his anti-LGBT comments.
