Our Latest LSS is End Street’s “Maalala Mo Sana”

“Maalala Mo Sana” is about finding love and being cheated on, with lyrics such as “maalala mo sana ako sa tuwing naghahawakan kayo ng kamay” and “nagmumog ka man lang ba noong hinalikan mo ako pagkatapos niya? Pakiligpit na lahat ng kalat mo, ayaw ko na ‘yang makita!” This song is directly rooted from why End Street started as a band – to write and sing songs about heartache, and everything that falls inside the matters of love.

The 5-piece OPM band from Quezon City has been going at it with a massive flood of local gigs, from SaGuijo Makati all the way to Nueva Ecija. They have shared the stage with other acts like 123 Pikit!, Letter Day Story, Franco, and more.

The band kept busy during the pandemic and wrote songs like “Paumanhin,” “Bahala Ka,” and “Tila Tala” – gaining attention and praise for speaking the ugly truths of falling in love and falling out of it.

Currently, this homegrown act is touring their new single with a handful of announced shows in Makati, Lucena, Quezon City, and Cavite. There are also talks of a Cagayan de Oro show late this year.
