Our Favorite Looks From The ABS-CBN Ball 2018

It’s that time of the year again and over the past few days, many of us were wondering what our favorite stars would be wearing. Though some celebrities had posted sneak peaks, we were still super excited to see their chosen ensembles.

Held at Makati Shangri-la Hotel, the network’s Ball is one of the most-awaited celebrity events in the Philippines. It’s the celebration of their talented artists, a showcase of style, and of course a night to just get together and be merry. As a stylist, I always admire the amount of work everyone puts in for this night: a night of ultimate style and glamour. (This list is no particular order.)

Janella Salvador

Looking like a real-life Barbie, Janella Salvador stayed true to her sweet personality by rocking this pink ball gown. Her ponytail hairdo worked to show off her diamond neckpiece. Her low neckline made this look sweet and a little sexy- just the right mix for this young lady.

Sarah Geronimo

Looking sleek and put together is no other than the Pop Princess herself. She walked the red carpet with such grace and elegance in this classic looking gown with side panels to show a little skin. Plus, that clutch is so beautiful!

Anne Curtis

Wearing a gown from International Filipina Designer Monique Lhuillier, Anne stunned everyone with this custom creation. She paired the gown with a headpiece that only proves that she is the one and only Dyosa.

Kylie Versoza

Our Pinay queens know how to slay! This Francis Libiran gown perfectly hugged Kylie’s body with a little accent on the left shoulder. Her updo showed her beautiful face and an undeniable glow.

Jessy Mendiola

This Senorita got some tricks up her sleeve. With this ensemble from Patricia Santos, Jessy showed off her perfectly toned body. The beading on the dress accentuated her curves and her simple low ponytail hairdo complemented her sparkly number.

Kim Chiu

Definitely the Belle of the Ball, Kim Chiu rocked this Michael Cinco ball gown. Since the gown is beautifully embellished, she completed her look with a sleek ponytail and simple diamond earrings. You know what completed the look, though? Xian Lim, who wore a Francis Libiran suit. Definitely #CoupleGoals!

Bea Alonzo

Timeless beauty, that’s how we would describe Bea Alonzo. This red bow gown perfectly complemented her banging new bod. Her tucked-behind-the-ear hairstyle showed off her beautiful face even without the little sparkle on her ear. She wore a diamond necklace to complete the look.

Kiana Valenciano

This is how you do a sexy number. Kiana was definitely not scared to show some skin in this gown that showed off her back and legs.

Maris Racal

There is one word to describe this look: POWER. Maris Racal surprised everyone with this gown by Mak Tumang. The bodice and the red satin perfectly wrapped her body along with the perfectly placed beadwork. Her sleek straight hairstyle made the look complete and incredibly powerful.

Catriona Gray

Our Miss Universe Philippines 2018 is looking like royalty in this body-hugging Mak Tumang embellished number. Though it is reminiscent to the glow of her Bb. Pilipinas gown, she knows how to dress for her body. The gown is paired with drop diamond earrings and a floral clutch from Calli Handbags.
