In an era where e-commerce and social platforms continue to grow rapidly, many ordinary people still find themselves left on the margins of the digital economy. Community-focused social shopping platform NOVALUXIA is aiming to change that narrative.
This week at the Core Users Summit 2025 held in Manila, representatives from nearly 100 barangays across the country—including mothers, youth entrepreneurs, and content creators—gathered to participate in a conference themed “Opportunity and Co-Creation.”
In his opening message, NOVALUXIA’s Head of Marketing, JR, said that the platform strives to be “a stage where ordinary people can finally be seen.” He stressed that talent is not found only in corporate offices or major cities. “Anyone who is willing to learn and embrace change deserves a real opportunity.”
During the event, NOVALUXIA cemented its commitment to social responsibility by officially launching two key programs designed to foster sustainable livelihoods.
The NOVA-LIGHT Women Empowerment Program is designed to provide skills training, income opportunities, and personal development for mothers and women managing households, helping them find a new balance between family and career. Simultaneously, the company introduced the NOVA Leadership Institute, which offers structured learning and career pathways for community leaders and high-potential users, helping them grow from participants into organizers and mentors. These initiatives reflect a commitment to addressing the Philippines’ urgent need for sustainable livelihoods and community-driven development.
NOVALUXIA additionally revealed its three-year roadmap, which focuses on massive community expansion. The goals include establishing 100 User Operation Centers across 50 cities nationwide, helping 1 million Filipino families gain new digital income opportunities, and empowering local users to become core drivers of brand partnerships and content creation.
Several attendees shared that what the platform provides goes far beyond mere earning potential—it gives them trust, support, and room for growth. A community representative from Quezon City noted, “For the first time, we feel that a company truly believes ordinary people can be part of real change.”
As the country accelerates its digital transformation, NOVALUXIA’s mission—to cultivate talent and empower communities through social commerce—offers a more people-centered path for the industry. More than building an e-commerce platform, the company is building a structure where ordinary Filipinos have the chance to grow, and the ability to contribute, making them the engine of the digital economy.
