Nothing is More Fil-Mex Than a Sisig Burrito

Mexican food with a Filipino twist is our current pa-burrito!!  Fil-Mex food brings on vibrant colorful flavors of Mexico with the familiar Filipino taste we love.  Of all foods Fil-Mex, Sisig Burrito is number one. The very Filipino sisig is hugged by the very Mexican tortilla.

Tito’s Fil-Mex is a newly opened restaurant at Ayala Malls Feliz owned by the actress Camille Prats and her husband VJ Yambao. The couple decided to venture into the food industry because they have always had a fondness for food and different cuisines.

Why Fil-Mex? Well, VJ’s grandfather wanted Filipino cuisine, while VJ wanted Mexican. Camille shares that they poured their hearts into building the business from the ground up. They wanted to make sure that they offer the best Mexican dishes while catering to the Filipino tastebuds.

Sisig Burrito (Php220)

Tito’s takes pride in their sisig burrito, which has a harmonious combination of flavorful sisig ingredients that go well with their soft flour tortilla. The thin creamy garlic is a great addition, creating a wonderful contrast to the texture of the sisig and the fresh flavor of the lettuce. To perfect the layering of flavors, it also comes with a salsa that seals it all in with bursts of citrus. Such flavors. Much Fil-Mex. Very yum. Wow, Sisig Burrito.

Tres Quesodillas (P195)

Do not leave Tito’s Fil-Mex without tasting their Tres Quesodillas. Its name is for the three kinds of cheeses that they are made of: nacho cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.

Mamang’s Taco Pizza (P260)

Another favorite is Mamang’s Taco Pizza – crispy tortilla with ground beef, sour cream, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. The combination of beef and cheese with hints of herbs in your mouth is heaven. It comes with a thin adobo sauce that adds a Filipino taste to the dish.
