With Yeng Guiao gone and three new players in the fold, Rain or Shine is more or less a brand new team.
In the offseason, the Elasto Painters acquired the sweet-shooting James Yap and versatile forward Jay Washington. They also got the services of former FEU star Mike Tolomia through the recent PBA Gilas draft.
Despite the additions, Rain or Shine head coach Caloy Garcia told Sports Illustrated Philippines they didn’t change their system that much, just minimal tweaks.
