Taylor Swift’s song “Lover” is already perfect as it is, but we can’t help but swoon over former One Direction member Niall Horan’s electrifying cover of it.
Niall, together with singer Fletcher, reimagined the dreamy song as a beautiful rock ballad featuring electric guitars and full band setup. Speaking about the song, he said: “It’s nice to get out of the comfort zone and try something different. When it came to deciding what song I was going to do, there was only one option for me. ‘Lover’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve heard in a long time and Taylor is a good friend. Let’s hope she likes it.”
The 10-time Grammy Award winner definitely loved it, as seen on her Instagram stories. “This is absolutely STUNNING,” she wrote. “@NiallHoran & @FindingXFletcher Love you guys.”
