When I received the invite, I was very pleased to attend the grand launch of My Singapore Food Street. For someone who lived in Singapore for more than a year, I definitely miss the set of comfort food I used to eat when I was there, the chicken rice, stir fry noodles like hokkien mee and char kway teow and uniquely prepared Singaporean drinks and desserts.

The restaurant was filled with several guests from the media, fellow writers/bloggers, and customers were arriving pretty fast, all gathered and were all apt for a gastronomic food experience of Singapore’s cuisine! Time to makan lah!
