Whether you’re an NBA far or not, you’ll want to check out the Golden State Warriors’ game this Saturday.
Early Thursday morning, the Golden State Warriors announced in their official Facebook Page that they’ll be Celebrating Filipino Heritage Night on Saturday. And as part of the celebration, they’ll be wearing this limited edition shirt before their match against the Brooklyn Nets:
According to reports, fans will be able to purchase the limited edition Filipino Heritage Night shooting shirts at stores located inside Oracle Arena where the event will take place on Saturday.
The Warriors will also host a Filipino Heritage Night pregame tailgate, featuring popular Filipino food trucks as well as live entertainment with DJ Romeo Reyes. Fans in the event will have a chance to take a photo with the 2015 Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy.
the report also said that a portion of the proceeds from each Filipino Heritage Night event ticket sold will be donated back to support local Filipino organizations throughout the Bay Area.
Currently, the Golden State Warriors are running a no-lose streak with 9 wins and no loses in the regular NBA season.
