Must Be Love Movie Review: Premiere Night with KathNiel Fans Courtesy of Procter & Gamble

 

When in Manila, one cannot fully explain the magic and chemistry of Philippine television’s hottest love team in their generation, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

More popularly known as the KathNiel love team, they are the lead stars of the latest romantic comedy film from Star Cinema, Must Be Love, showing in cinemas today, March 13. Sponsored by Procter & Gamble Philippines, solid fans of KathNiel from all over the country were invited by P&G to witness the premiere night at SM Megamall Cinema 8. Lucky fans who joined some contests took home movie posters and P&G products.

Aside from that, four regular girls from different areas in the Philippines (now known as the BeYOUtiful girls) were transformed with the help of the Ganda Trio products namely Olay, Rejoice, and Whisper, just like Kathryn’s character in the movie, Patchot, a perfect example of gandang di mo inakala!

Filmed mostly for teenagers who are always updated with trends, this rom-com movie played with new acronyms in their script that you’ll soon hear from the young people like GHOHO (Group Hang Out Hang Out), KKL (Kape-Kape Lang), LIS (Life Is Short), MBL (Must Be Love) and more, on top of the famous YOLO motto (You Only Live Once). It also emphasizes that girls who want to change themselves for the better should appreciate their own beauty first.  

 

Also starring John Estrada, John Lapus, Miguel Morales, Kit Thompson, Ramon Christopher, Janus del Prado, Sharlene San Pedro, Paul Salas, Cacai Bautista and Arlene Muhlach, the movie brought so much funny scenes and of course, kilig moments that all KathNiel fans who filled the cinema cannot even contain! Almost each scene of best friends Ivan and Patchot were highly appreciated by the audience (including yours truly) through our loud cheers and laughter while watching Must Be Love.

After watching the movie with solid fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, I just can’t help but be amazed (again) at how Filipinos support their favorite love team or celebrities. There goes KathNiel Spikers, KathNiel Kadreamers, KathNiel Swaggies and more fans clubs who spent their time, money, and effort to go to the premiere night just to see a glimpse of their idols. Good thing Procter & Gamble invited a number of fans to see this advanced screening for free!
