I am a huge fan of strawberry desserts, so the moment I laid eyes on local business Megamax’s delicious Strawberry Mascarpone Tiramisu cake, I swear that I heard angels singing.

Sisters Maegan and Maxine started Megamax (the name of which is a fusion of their own names) at the beginning of quarantine to share their passion and love for their all-time favorite dessert: tiramisu. They were looking for a tiramisu that isn’t soggy at the bottom while still being moist, and cream that is creamy, but not too airy that the taste of mascarpone vanished. When they couldn’t find this, they decided to make their own, and they’ve been doing it ever since we were 15.
As they continue to satisfy the cravings of Filipinos around the Metro with their wide variety of tiramisu flavors, Megamax decided to celebrate the month of love with their newest limited-edition dessert–and, really, this is one treat you can’t afford to miss out on.
Made with fresh U.S. strawberries and Italian mascarpone cheese with layers of savoiardi soaked in a special strawberry concoction and topped with delicately tempered 72% pure Belgian dark chocolate, the Strawberry Mascarpone Tiramisu is a sensation to the tastebuds. Every layer is guaranteed to pack a delightful punch of premium strawberry flavor.

“This strawberry flavor is something that we created together with our dad,” Megamax shared with When In Manila. “Since we started this business because of him, it was only natural that we had a flavor that was crafted by him.”
The Strawberry Mascarpone Tiramisu is housed in an acrylic tub cake, available in various sizes: Gift Tub (5.5 x 2 inches), Personal (5 x 8 x 2.5 inches), and Family (8 x 8 x 3.5 inches). If you want to sink your teeth into this mouthwatering treat, better hurry because it’s only available this February!
Deliveries can be made around Metro Manila via a third party courier to be shouldered by the customer. Pick-ups can also be arranged at their San Juan City location.
