Mayor Vico Sotto Calls on Doctors & Nurses Interested to Work for Pasig City Hospitals

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto posted on Saturday an open invite to any healthcare professionals who might want to work for his city. He called for interested doctors and nurses to apply by sending him an email as hospitals in Pasig City near saturation point.

“I’m thankful and proud of our doctors,” Vico first clarified in his tweet. “Walang reklamo kahit sobrang pagod na.” [They have no complaints no matter how tired they are.]

“But the fact is, our city hospitals are nearing saturation point. WE NEED MORE HUMAN RESOURCES,” he emphasized.

He then asks any doctor or nurse willing to work for Pasig city, either full-time or part-time, to email pasigcovidTF@gmail.com.

With the fast rate at which the COVID-19 infection spreads as well as the lack of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for frontliners, the understaffing of hospitals is quickly becoming a problem.
