MayWard fans are definitely feeling the kilig after Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber’s interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda aired on Tuesday, September 17, where they addressed the current status of their relationship.
In the interview, Maymay revealed that, even though they’re not officially together, there is no one else she sees as her potential boyfriend in the future than Edward.

“Siguro po kasi, yung nararamdaman kapag talagang gusto mo yung tao, ‘di talagang maieexplain po ‘yun e. Tapos ‘di naman po kailangan ng status para maipakita mo sa lahat na kayo na,” she told Boy Abunda.
“Sobrang thankful ako kay [Edward]. Kung may future boyfriend man ako, gusto ko siya. At hindi ko po kaya na mawala siya at makita na may iba siya,” she added.
Edward labeled their relationship as “MU” or “Mutual Understanding” which means that although they are not ready to be lovers, they share a mutual affection for one another.
He also revealed that he sometimes gets protective of Maymay especially when he sees her with someone else.
“The only time na ‘yung selos level ko would go through the roof is when I see her with another guy,” he confessed.

Maymay and Edward have been love team partners since they met in Pinoy Big Brother in 2016.
In a separate interview, Maymay revealed that she wanted to focus on her family and career first before looking for a romantic partner. Edward added that although he sees Maymay as “girlfriend material,” he wants their relationship to happen naturally.
