Marvel Studios made the announcement this Valentine’s Day, naming Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka the Thing).

Along with this news is Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four release date, July 25, 2025. Disney apparently swapped Marvel movies’ release dates, with “Thunderbolts” now scheduled for release on May 2, 2025. Also slated for release in 2025 are “Captain America: Brave New World” in February and “Blade” in November.

However, only “Deadpool & Wolverine” starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is set to hit cinemas this year, on July 26.

In case you didn’t know, the Fantastic Four are the first characters created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Pedro Pascal rose to fame for his role as Oberyn Martell in the fourth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, and Javier Peña in Netflix’s Narcos. He also top-billed the Emmy award-winning HBO show The Last of Us with GOT co-star Bella Ramsey.

Another GOT star joining the MCU’s “The Fantastic Four” is Joseph Quinn, also recognized for his role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Kirby has starred in hit movies such as Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Napoleon, and Pieces of a Woman, where she received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for her lead role as Martha Weiss. Kirby also won the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2018 for her performance in The Crown as Princess Margaret.

As for Ebon Moss-Bachrach, some of his notable roles are Desi Harperin in the HBO series Girls, and David Lieberman/Micro in the Netflix Marvel series The Punisher.
