Wong was tasked by Marvel Comics to write Wave’s backstory. She has a Nebula Award, a Locus Award, and a World Fantasy Award under her belt.
It’s an exciting time for comic book fans. There’s a certain kind of pride that comes with seeing yourself represented in a major publication such as Marvel. The diversity in the creative teams are really reflected on the page and we can’t wait to see what more they have in store!
