Maris Racal is the latest Filipino artist to be featured on a billboard in New York City’s Times Square and her reaction is so cute!
She posted a video on Instagram and said, “This was the moment I learned that my face is up in Times Square. like. OMG. IS THIS REAL? I can’t believe nasa New York ako! Honestly, this inspires me to make more music. Thank you, everyone, for believing in me.”
The digital billboard is part of Spotify’s Equal campaign, which celebrates women artists from around the world.
Racal also gave a relatable reaction to seeing her billboard.

On Twitter, the artist shared more of her thoughts on the billboard. Racal said, “Nahihilo ako. Dati lang akong naglalakad sa New York, Cubao. Di ko naman akalain na aabot ako sa New York Times Square.”
[“I feel dizzy. I used to walk in New York, Cubao. I didn’t expect to reach New York Times Square.”]
She added, “nahihilo ako seryoso.” [“I seriously feel dizzy”]
