Filipina skater Margielyn Didal is back and better than ever as she made a successful comeback this time around!

The top skateboarder bested the Netherlands’ Roos Zwestloot in the finale of the women’s division championship of the Red Bull Buenos Aires Conquest in Argentina. This triumphant win marks a significant milestone after suffering from an ankle injury in October 2022.
Following her victory, Red Bull Skateboarding congratulated her on Instagram.

“Margie’s back! Congratulations @margielyndidal on being the Red Bull Buenos Aires Conquest Women’s Champ! 🏆 #RedBullBuenosAiresConquest,” it wrote.
The 25-year-old skateboarder also commemorated her win on the popular platform.

She added: “Congrats to all who participated and hype to share the podium with the homies @rooszwettie @aldanabertran 🫶🏽.”
Meanwhile, Brazilian skater Gabryel Aguilar defended his throne, succeeding against Argentina’s Axel Mansilla and Uruguay’s Emilio Dufour in the qualifying round, and Mexico’s Brayan Coria in the final round.
Margielyn Didal made waves in the skateboarding scene when she won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. For this feat, she was included in Time Magazine’s “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018.”
