In an interview with TV Patrol, the 25-year-old artist shared a glimpse of his rehearsals with his team as they gear up for a night filled with powerful live performances.
“My team has been preparing this for months. Sobra kami naging hands-on for this concert kumbaga ibubuhos talaga namin dito (We were very hands-on with this concert, it’s like we are really giving it our all here),” he said.
Additionally, the OPM singer shared that the guests performing at his two-day sold-out concerts are his personal picks. His lineup includes Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel, Sitti, Angela Ken, Cesca, and Nameless Kids.
He added: “Most of my fans are GenZs, gusto kong maparinig sa kanila kung saan ako nanggaling, kung ano ‘yung roots ko, paano nagkaroon ng ganitong song (Most of my fans are Gen Zs, and I want them to hear where I came from, what my roots are, and how this song came to be).”
In October, the Dilaw singer expressed that he would cherish this career milestone with a “very, very excited heart.”
“Yung concert na ito (this concert) is something that I will always treasure,” he said. “Tatandaan ko sa sarili ko na dapat galingan ko ‘to, ito yung first solo concert ko (I will remind myself that I have to give my best because this is my first solo concert) so I need to express myself as a musician, as a singer.”
