In a statement published on March 29, Cebu Pacific announced that it has secured sufficient jet fuel to “support all scheduled domestic and international flights until June 2026.”
“The airline has secured sufficient jet fuel to support all scheduled domestic and international flights until June 2026. CEB is working closely with suppliers and industry partners to ensure continued fuel availability in the months ahead and will continue to take proactive measures to maintain stable and sustainable operations,” the statement read.
It added: “Passengers can continue to travel with confidence, as Cebu Pacific remains committed to providing reliable and affordable air travel.”
Previously, the airline had suspended some routes and adjusted the frequency of some flights in response to increased fuel prices.
Philippine Airlines
Philippine Airlines announced that it has sufficient jet fuel supply for its operations for the “foreseeable future.”
In a statement released on March 25, the airline assured travelers that it is closely monitoring global and regional developments affecting jet fuel supply and pricing.
“PAL has secured sufficient jet fuel supply to support scheduled operations, including long-haul flights, for the foreseeable future,” the statement read.
“The airline recognizes that global supply conditions remain dynamic. As part of prudent planning, PAL continues to work closely with fuel suppliers, industry partners, and government stakeholders to ensure stable and efficient operations over the longer term,” it added.
As of March 20, the airline announced the temporary suspension of its flights between Manila and selected Middle East destinations until April 30.
