Mackenyu is making his video game debut in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”!
The “One Piece” actor is set to join the voice cast of Ubisoft’s upcoming game, taking on the role of Gennojo, “a key character who helps the protagonist track and eliminate a crucial target.”

His character was described as “charming, reckless, and deeply conflicted, driven by guilt to dismantle a corrupt system.”
“As part of the Shinobi League, players can recruit him into their ‘brotherhood’ for support,” the description noted.
“He’s a flirtatious rogue and a trickster, always walking the line with a mix of wit, deceit, and swagger. Motivated by a deep desire to bring down a corrupt system, Gennojo is willing to risk everything, even his own life, to achieve his goal. Despite his rough exterior, he holds a strong sense of justice, especially when it comes to helping the poor and elderly.”

In an interview with Variety, Mackenyu expressed his desire to be part of the “Assassin’s Creed” TV series, which is currently in development.
“Please get my name in that,” he said.
“Assassin’s Creed Shadows” is the fourteenth major installment in the “Assassin’s Creed” series. It will be released on March 20.
