Love Coffee? Arabica Just Launched Their Internship Program

Want to be a Barista or even open up your Coffee shop in the future? Arabica just launched its internship program!

Forget the Valentine’s Day chocolates, because something way cooler went down at the Arabica Manila Roastery! Members of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) swapped love songs for the sweet aroma of coffee, as they became barista rockstars in a crash course led by Arabica Philippines.

The SK members were able to immerse in the “Arabica Way” training, where these young coffee crusaders learned the secrets of crafting dreamy espressos and mouthwatering soft cream.

This event marked the launch of Arabica’s “See the World Through Coffee” internship program, a game-changer for Filipino coffee lovers.

Arabica’s COO, Koko Tamura, beamed with excitement: “We want to open our doors to passionate young Filipinos and show them that being a barista is more than just pouring coffee. It’s about creativity, precision, and sharing the rich stories and flavors that define Philippine coffee culture.”

Jerome Paolo Gonzales, chairman of SK Brgy. Katuparan Taguig, couldn’t contain his gratitude: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young Filipinos like myself who dream of becoming coffee wizards! Grab this chance, guys, you won’t regret it.”

But why Filipinos, you ask? Well, Tamura has the answer: “Filipino baristas are famous worldwide for their warm smiles and hospitality. They’re the perfect fit for Arabica, and this program is our way to invest in the future of both coffee and Filipino talent.”

So, are you a 16-20-year-old coffee fanatic with dreams of brewing barista magic? The eight-week internship program kicks off in March. Sign up, learn the “Arabica Way,” and get ready to brew your way to a bright future! Full details will be posted by Arabica this March!
