LOOK: UST’s Psycho-Trauma Clinic Is Now Open To All!

Nowadays, Filipinos are slowly becoming more sensitive and aware when it comes to dealing with mental health conditions. We have also been more informed on how to understand and help our friends who have such problems.

Just recently, the University of Santo Thomas has extended their facilities and opened the first and only clinic in the country that aims to provide help and counsel to the people who have mental health concerns, especially the ones who experience psychological trauma.

The clinic has been offering free psychological services such as psychological assessment and diagnosis, individual and group counseling, and psychotherapy. The staff is composed of licensed psychologists, psychometricians, guidance counselors, nurses, graduate school students, and faculty members who are all volunteering for a good cause.

The UST Psychotrauma Clinic has also been providing services to various communities in the country affected by traumatic events like natural calamities and armed conflicts. The facility is located at the ground floor of the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex building. It is open for appointments and consultations from Tuesday to Friday at 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
