LOOK: This New BGC Bar Looks Exactly Like an Underground Fairy Workshop

Manila is about to experience a massive shift in its nightlife scene as the world-famous Iron Fairies officially confirms its arrival this 2026. Known globally for blending industrial decadence with ethereal wonder, this highly anticipated opening will transport guests into a setting that feels like the hidden workshop of a lonely blacksmith.

The project is a joint venture that brings the singular vision of creative genius Ashley Sutton to the Philippines. Locally, the brand is spearheaded by seasoned operator Sandeep Sekhri. Together, they are ensuring the Manila venue maintains the same meticulous quality and operational excellence that has defined the brand in cities like Bangkok and Hong Kong.

The heart of the experience lies in its otherworldly interior. Rather than following conventional luxury trends, the design focuses on a darker and more intricate form of beauty. Raw materials like aged timber, rusted iron, and buttery leather are used to transform the space into a theatrical wonderland.

When guests step inside the Manila location, they will find themselves in an atmosphere of low, warm lighting and dramatic shadows. The space features raw steel fittings and plush velvet furniture, making it feel like a secret that has been discovered rather than a building that was recently constructed. Every corner exudes the history and mystery of the mythical iron workers the brand is named after.

Several iconic features will be central to the Manila location. Thousands of handcrafted iron figurines will be suspended from the ceiling or tucked away in small display nooks. Walls and bar shelves will be lined with miniature iron fairies sealed in glass bottles, adding to the sense of captured beauty. The design also blends heavy industrial machinery with bespoke copper pipes to create what Sutton calls a design opera.

The Iron Fairies is rooted in a meticulously crafted fable. Sutton originally conceived the brand around the dark story of a blacksmith tasked with forging one thousand iron fairies every night. This narrative drives the philosophy of the bar, focusing on imagination and escapism. It serves as a sanctuary for those looking to see the line between reality and fantasy blur.

As the entertainment scene in Manila continues to grow, The Iron Fairies is set to establish a new benchmark for conceptual nightlife. It proves that a bar can be a fully realized theatrical experience. The design is expected to captivate the Filipino spirit and become a timeless institution for anyone with a sense of wonder.

The Iron Fairies Manila plans to open its doors to the public in February 2026. While the exact location remains a closely guarded secret for now, more details regarding the grand opening celebrations and an exclusive A-list night will be announced soon.
