Father Porfirio shared that he could hardly believe it when Maybank called to inform him that he had won a P300,000 shopping spree. “I am really overwhelmed because this does not happen to priests,” he said.
Father Porfirio got a bunch of stuff during his shopping day, but what’s interesting is, as big as the prize he had won, he actually spent most of his winnings not for himself. As a school administrator for all Butuan diocese parishes, Father Porifirio used his shopping spree to help restore one of the schools in their dioceses that recently burned down in a fire.
