The modeling industry is no longer for humans alone. Not until recently, adorable animals have also been spending time under the limelight.
Having thousands of followers on Instagram, Panther, a 3-year-old doll-faced Persian cat, has become one of the premier pet models not just in the country but even overseas.
According to his cat mom, Carmen Goetz, Panther’s career started when she created an Instagram account for him in 2015. Given that his pawrent is an internationally published fashion and beauty photographer, no wonder that this adorable feline dominated the meowdeling industry. “Usually, I feed or play with him to get his photos done.”, Carmen shared.
Ever since then, local and foreign companies have been asking Panther to model for products and stores both here and the U.S. He has also been featured in several publications and even television appearances. His photos have been published in Cats of Instagram’s book and Insta Grammar: Cats.
In addition, just last year, he has been the cover of a pet magazine. As of the moment, Panther is currently working on a project with a car company so make sure to watch out for that.
Despite his busy meowdeling career, he doesn’t forget how to “cat”. He obeys to commands like “sit”, “stand up” and “high five” and he usually spends his day playing with his favorite duck stuffed toy while chilling in his basket.
When asked for an advice for fellow pet parents, Panther’s cat mom shared, “Make sure to give them what they need in terms of right nutrition, play-time, brushing sessions according to coat length and attention, so they’ll be living their lives to the fullest.”
