Looks like the ‘old Taylor Swift’ is gone and, well .. “dead”.
The official music video of ‘Look What You Made Me Do‘ was previewed at the MTV VMA Awards, and is now uploaded on the official YouTube channel of the 27-year-old American singer slash song writer.
Away from the sweet and innocent image she always had for the past years, the video suggests how she ‘rises up from the dead’ (quite literally in the music video) and seeks revenge to those who have hurt her in the past.
The video suggests subtle symbolisms that can connect to her relationships with other artists such as Kanye West, Katy Perry and even her exes. The last part of the video, which are several imitations of Taylor suggests the different phases and moments in her career as a musician.
“Look What You Made Me Do” is the first song released from Taylor Swift’s album, “Reputation”.
