LOOK: Sam Smith to release ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ on September 8!

We know we’re not the only ones excited!

Singer Sam Smith teased fans on his Twitter account a photo of him and his latest album cover of what he’ll be releasing on September 8.

Prior to the tweet he posted just a couple of minutes ago, he also shared photos on his Twitter advertisements of his new music being promoted – one in London, the other in Los Angeles.

He also reached out to fans through an open letter he posted, still on Twitter. He thanked them for being “so patient” and for allowing him to “really escape into my mind and write music so freely” for the past year. He assured that the “wait is nearly over” and something is coming “very very very very soon”.

We could tell how excited he is based on the number of very’s he used!

The 25-year-old took a hiatus from making music for about two years, according to Metro. He was also sick for some time that he had to undergo throat surgery, wherein he had to cancel many shows, including the one in Manila (but was eventually able to come back later that year.)

We bet we’ll be latching on to Sam’s new songs by the time it’s out! We can’t wait!
