We visited Purple Princess Salon and Beauty Shop when we toured around Daet, Camarines Norte. The owner, Ms. Lorena Robles, a retired bank teller who is very fond of the color purple, shares that she always dreamt of having her own salon or spa. Now, she has both.

Once you enter the salon, you’ll feel like you were teleported to Japan real quick as you are greeted by artificial Japanese cherry blossoms attached to their whole ceiling. Here, sakura season never ends. The ambiance and color combination of purple and pink are very relaxing to the eyes. Their couches are very comfortable and you’ll feel like a princess when you sit there getting a foot and hand spa.

We tried one of their bestsellers and unique type of massages, the Thai Herbal Ball compress technique. Here, the masseuse will going to massage your body first before rubbing and pressing a hot herbal ball on you to eliminate the muscle spasms of your body. At the same time, the smell of the herbs will tranquilize your mind and help relieve stress. After that 60-minute procedure, they will serve you some hot tea to complete the deep relaxation of your body.
