Piolo Pascual had a few words to say about people judging others for choosing to eat alone outside.
On his Facebook page, the 46-year-old actor aired out his thoughts on the topic, jokingly saying: “Hindi porket kumakain mag isa malungkot na, di ba pwedeng nagtitipid lang? (Just because someone is eating alone that person is sad, can’t it just be because they have a tight budget?)”
Piolo then poked fun at the fact that people often take pictures or videos of strangers they find dining out on their own to post with sympathetic captions. “Tapos kukunan ka pa ng video… (And then they’ll take a video of you…)” he said in the captions, together with a short video he took of himself eating alone.
“Sarap kaya kumain ng mag isa walang kaagaw (You know, it feels great when you have no one to share your food with),” he added.
His post garnered positive reactions from friends and fans who found it humorous. Plenty of the comments were from people inviting Piolo out to eat together so he wouldn’t have to dine alone.
“Okay lang po Papa P kumain mag-isa basta ka-video call kita,” one fan said.
“Pwede mo naman ako isama Papa P. tas libre nalang kita chaar,” another said.
“Papa P mas masarap kumain na may kasama kaya isama mo ako,” another remarked.
