A few days ago, a certain post featuring a newlywed couple made its rounds through Facebook. Usually, this happens when settings are perfect or couples look extraordinarily happy. This time, though, it was all due to a little quote.
The still captures a moment from Ben and Mylene’s wedding. Set against the sun setting on the water we see the emotional couple with the officiator. Above them is the quote “Dilawan man ako at ka-DDS ka, mamahalin kita.” This roughly translates to “I may be dilawan, and you DDS, I will still love you.”

Jason Magbanua captions the post with “Guys. The search is over. True love has been found.” People from all over the Internet joke about this being what real love looks like, or setting new standards of what love is.
It did incite a lot of mixed reactions, however. Some made fun of the couple or outright posted hate. We got in touch with the bride who assures us that the line was said in good humor. She disclaims that it was just one line and that people should read her whole vow before judging her.
