There were mixed reactions from basketball fans after news broke that Golden State Warriors player Kevin Durant is Brooklyn-bound. Whether or not you originally rooted for him to choose the Nets over the Knicks, here’s some good news for you! A new colorway for the basketball player’s signature shoe has just surfaced and it matches his new Brooklyn Nets Uniform.
Durant’s 12th signature model will come in a “Black/Cement” color combination which is popular in other basketball shoes. It has a black mesh upper with red accents on the tongue and on the sides. Meanwhile, the laces, the Swoosh, and the midsole feature a print that resembles cement. As its base, it is equipped with Zoom Air Cushioning and translucent outsole.
What makes it more interesting is that his new sneakers match the Brooklyn Nets uniform. We’re not sure if it’s coincidental or intentional but we definitely can’t wait to see him rock these on the court! In case you’re wondering, this is how the Brooklyn Nets uniform looks like.
It is yet to be revealed when the new “Black/Cement” Zoom KD 12 will drop but reports say it will cost around $150 (around Php 7,700). Whether you’re a Nets fan or not, there’s no denying that his new Nets-inspired sneakers are fire!
