Neri Naig-Miranda is proving that it’s never too late to learn.
Yesterday, Miranda shared that she was accepted in the online version of Harvard Business School.
On Instagram, she shared, “Ayuuuuuun! Nakatanggap din ng email from Harvard!” [“There! I got an email from Harvard!”]
Miranda added, “Ang sabi, ‘Welcome to Entrepreneurship Essentials! We are thrilled to have you join our community of learners.’ Wow! Thrilled daw sila! Haha! Bolero! Joke laaaang! Baka bawiin! Hihi! Ok na. Sobrang saya ko na, na alam ko na pasok ako. Ang next ay sakit sa bulsa tapos sakit sa brain naman! Magbabayad ka para sumakit ang ulo mo, haha! Pero di ba ginusto mo yan?”
[“It said, ‘Welcome to Entrepreneurship Essentials! We are thrilled to have you join our community of learners.’ Wow! They said they’re thrilled! Haha! They’re flattering me! Just kidding, they might take it back! Hihi! It’s okay. I’m very happy knowing that I got in. The next is pain in the pocket, then a headache! You’re paying to get a headache, haha! But that’s what you wanted, right?”]
She ended her post by reminding everyone to go for their dreams. She said, “I am happppppy! Sobraaaa! Nakakaproud dahil kapag may ginusto ako, gumagawa talaga ako ng paraan. Walang excuses dapat. Paano ko malalaman kung para sa akin kung hindi ko susubukan, di ba?”
[“I am happppppy! Super! I’m proud because if I want something, I find a way. No excuses. How will I know if it’s for me if I don’t try, right?”]
Miranda added that we should invest in ourselves, saying, “Everyday dapat naghahanap tayo ng mga paraan para mas matuto pa. Mag invest ka sa sarili mo. Tandaan, hindi pa huli ang lahat. Kahit anong edad mo pa.”
[“Every day we should find ways to learn. Invest in yourself. Remember, it’s not too late. No matter your age.”]
