In the swimsuit competition, Dee sported a red one-piece high-leg bikini with a deep V-neckline by American designer Rubin Singer that highlighted the Philippine bet’s toned physique.
As for the evening gown segment, Dee donned an emerald green custom piece by Mark Bumgarner. A tribute to Dee’s mom Melanie Marquez (Miss International 1979), the Filipino designer encrusted the dress with “over 30 thousand different shades of emerald green and black Swarovski crystals.”

“I wanted it to shimmer just like the skin of a green viper; a symbol of wisdom, power, and transformation,” Bumgarner said in his Instagram post. “Cutouts are strategically placed to give it a modern touch, and a cinched waist. A high neckline, power shoulders, and a column silhouette to give it an elegant look.”

The hue of the 28-year-old’s gown is also reportedly a nod to her advocacy for autism awareness.
