This photo warms and breaks my heart at the same time.
A Facebook user by the name Maiz Abdulla shared on his Facebook page how this photo was worth a thousand words.
This warms us knowing that the guy took his opportunity to learn and acquire knowledge through the large pile of books he’s sitting on. But that’s the heart-breaking part – the pile of books he’s sitting on possibly looks like it’s up for disposal.

Somehow, this photo reminded me how not all Filipinos have access to education and materials, and a similar situation as such is not impossible to happen.
Let’s treasure the gift of education and learning, regardless of means and ways!
