We’ve been waiting for Maine‘s collaboration with MAC and we can now officially see what she has in store!
A few days ago, Maine had an intimate dinner with Filipino Vloggers for an exclusive first look at her lipstick shade. At first, we thought it’s a full collection but it was actually an exclusive line of lipsticks by influencers from all around the world. Maine is the chosen representative from the Philippines and the only one from the Asia region.
Maine went to Canada to personally come up with her shade!
The name of her shade is based on her instagram handle @mainedcm
MAC revealed that Maine really made the shade of her lipstick something that will fit different Filipina skin tones and something that you can wear on any occasion.
Though we have expected that she will probably release a red shade to compliment her signature TV Character Yaya Dub, Maine wanted the shade to cater to all women.
Maine shared that she got inspiration from retro fantasies and ended up with a muted peachy beige color with a Matte finish. She also designed the packaging for the lipstick which will be available via Lazada on September 21, SM Megamall on September 22 and nationwide on September 23.
The MAC lipstick line that they call MAC Makers are composed of influencers from all around the world: Nyma Tang, Sonjra Deluxe, Patricia Bright, Jamie Genevieve, Raquel Calderon, Paulina Goto, Kate Clapp, Ahood Alenezi, Palina Rojinski, Aida Domenech, Nina Martins and of course our very own Maine Mendoza.
