After almost a week since news broke out that the LizQuen series “Make It With You” was canceled, lead actress Liza Soberano has taken to Instagram to explain the reason behind the cancelation, as well as to thank the cast, crew, and faithful fandom who’ve worked on and supported the show.

“To all the solid followers of our show Make It With You, Thank you so much for embarking on the journey of Billie and Gabo. It breaks my heart to confirm that we will no longer be coming back to air,” Liza began on her post.
She then revealed that she, along with the rest of the cast and crew, had reservations about pushing through with the series knowing that the ongoing health crisis has yet to be fully contained.
“I know a lot of you are upset and looking for answers and the only explanation I can give you is genuine fear of the virus. When we were asked to resume taping on June 13, many of us had hesitations. Considering that the COVID-19 situation here in the Philippines is far from contained, there are many risks in place for me (and everyone involved) given my history of having a weak immune system. I consulted my family, my managers, and the team and we all came to an agreement that it might be for the best to not continue with the show anymore,” she said.
“That, along with many other factors are the reasons why MIWY will no longer continue. I’m sorry we won’t be able to give our audience the ending they deserve. Thank you and looking forward to our next adventure,” she added.
It was Liza’s manager, Ogie Diaz, who announced that “Make It With You” was no longer returning after an almost three-month suspension due to the quarantine.

According to the official synopsis, “Make It With You” is a story of two individuals who, despite having different priorities in life, found love in each other. But after a series of encounters in Croatia, they will have to decide whether it’s a love worth choosing. Sadly, fans can only imagine now how the story ends.
