Lea Salonga gave a sweet message of support for her former onscreen partner Aga Muhlach as his newest film “Miracle in Cell No. 7” premiered in theaters yesterday, December 25, for the annual Metro Manila Film Festival.
On Twitter, Lea shared an article about the successful opening of Aga’s film, which is a local remake of a well-loved Korean Drama.
“Would you look at that! Well-deserved, my friend. Now I understand why you weren’t able to see my shows this year; you were far too busy with this! Congratulations on this latest success!” she wrote.

Following the love the movie has been receiving on its first day, Aga also took to his Instagram account to express his gratitude to all those who watched and supported it.
