Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are set to reunite for the Philippine adaptation of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.
The series was originally a novel adapted into a webtoon, then a K-drama series starring Park Min-young and Park Seo-joon.
Chiu will play the titular character, while Avelino will star as the Vice-Chairman.

There’s no word when it will air, but according to ABS-CBN Entertainment and Viu, it will be available sometime in 2024.
Chiu and Avelino previously worked together in Linlang.

What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim started as a novel by Jung Kyung-yoon, which was first published in 2013. It follows Lee Young-joon, a handsome yet narcissistic vice-chairman of a major company. His secretary, Kim Mi So, is highly competent but decides to leave after nine years. He must do whatever it takes to keep her by his side.
Two years later, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim was serialized into a webtoon by KakaoPage. It was adapted into a hit K-drama in 2018, which also aired in the Philippines.
