Veteran actress Jodi Sta. Maria officially marks her graduation from college and she took time to share an uplifting message to her fans, friends, and followers on Instagram about how no one is ever too old to reach for the stars.
“Success comes to those who want it. And sometimes you have to ask yourself “how much do I want this?” I dreamt of finishing my schooling ever since I entered show business and today, after more than a decade, marks the fulfillment of that dream. After 4 long years, I am here graduating from college,” she began on her post.
The actress, who has been studying BS Psychology in Southville International School and Colleges in Las Piñas through the INNOVE Education Solution for four years now, opened up how she never gave up on her schooling because her faith in God helped her all the way.
“In school, whenever I faced a seemingly insurmountable task, I’d always push myself and say “it can be done.” I knew that God was with me all throughout my college life and I kept holding on to his promise that I can do all things through Him who gave me strength and supplied me with more than I needed according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. God is always faithful to his word.”
“I share this milestone with everyone who has supported me through the years – my teachers, my family, my management team, my friends. Thank you for letting me reach my stars. To God be all the glory, honor, and praise,” she added. “Remember, it is never too late, and you are never too old to reach your stars.”
Jodi shared photos of herself wearing her toga and her uniform, as well as her certificates. She also revealed that she made it to the Dean’s List.
It was early June when she shared that she had finished her final thesis defense.
She is also set to star in the upcoming series “The Broken Marriage Vow” which is the much-awaited Filipino adaptation of “Doctor Foster.”
