After months of keeping fans waiting, Selena Gomez has finally launched her new makeup line, Rare Beauty!
The singer first dropped the news on her Instagram on February with a video of her testing out different cosmetics products. “I think Rare Beauty can be more than a beauty brand,” she had said at the time. “I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and start embracing our own uniqueness. You’re not defined by a photo, a like, or a comment. Rare Beauty isn’t about how other people see you. It’s about how you see yourself.”
“Our mission is to shape conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health. We want to help people get more access to support and services, and help people feel more authentically connected to one another and less alone in the world,” she added on the brand’s very first Instagram post.
The range of products that are part of her debut release includes a touch-up kit, an eyeliner, tinted lip balms, matte lipsticks, liquid highlighters, blush powders, an eyebrow pencil and gel, primer, face mist, foundation, concealer, and three beauty tools.
