Selena Gomez is set to own 2020 because not only is she flourishing from the release of her latest album Rare but she is also now preparing for the launch of her upcoming beauty brand, Rare Beauty!

The singer dropped the news on her Instagram with a video of her testing out different cosmetics products. In the caption, she shared that she had been working on this special project for two years and that it will officially launch in all Sephora stores across North America in the summer.
“I think Rare Beauty can be more than a beauty brand,” Selena said in the video. “I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and start embracing our own uniqueness. You’re not defined by a photo, a like, or a comment. Rare Beauty isn’t about how other people see you. It’s about how you see yourself.”
Selena also launched the official Instagram page for Rare Beauty. In its first post, the brand shares to its 1 million followers and counting: “Our mission is to shape conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health. We want to help people get more access to support and services, and help people feel more authentically connected to one another and less alone in the world.”
Selena has yet to reveal what kinds of products will be included in the launch, but based on the products she was testing out in the announcement video, it seems that fans can expect lipsticks, blush and contour powders, highlighters, foundation, concealers, and more.
