LOOK: Gerald Anderson’s Newly Opened Gym Inspired by Rucker Park

In March 2019, Gerald Anderson opened his first gym called The Th3rd Floor located at Don A. Roces Avenue in Diliman, Quezon City. Before the pandemic, it was said to be a favorite hangout among celebrities such as Kathryn Bernardo, Bea Alonzo, Ria Atayde, Ronnie Alonte, and more.

Yesterday, the Filipino-American actor opened another branch in Samat, Quezon City, and gave fans a tour. In his vlog, he mentioned that the Th3rd Floor “THE PARK” was inspired by Holcombe Rucker Park. The New York City park is famous for producing NBA stars such as Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and more. Anderson’s new gym has two basketball courts that were made to look like it, named after two of the greatest players: LeBron and Jordan. We also spotted a Kobe mural with the words “Kobe is watching” for workout motivation. 😉

Kapamilya star and girlfriend Julia Barretto expressed her support for Anderson via Instagram. She wrote: “Always turning your visions into reality. You are the most driven [and] hardworking person I know and I am inspired by you every day. Congratulations on @theth3rdfloor Park.”
