Dingdong Dantes gave fans and friends a peek at his family’s new home as he shared photos of them lounging around their swimming pool.
According to the actor, it took them two decades to finally be able to build this house. “Ang tahanan ng aking pamilya. Naitayo ng ilang ilang taon, pero dalawang dekadang pinagsikapan (My family’s home. Built in just a few years, but two decades were spent aspiring for it),” he wrote on a Facebook post. “Huwag ipaubaya ang pangarap sa iba (Don’t depend on anyone else to fulfill your dreams for you).”

Sharing the same photo on his Instagram page, Dingdong added: “The things we cherish most often do not come easy. A house is no different. We work hard to build it—founded on all the learnings and sacrifices for us to achieve it.”
“Soon to be “painted” with the memories we will be creating, and love that we will be sharing within— possibly for generations to come. What is worth keeping deserves only the things we trust. Subukan ang subok na (Make the effort to go for it),” he continued.
He also posted an adorable shot of his daughter Zia jumping into the pool. “Always the first one in…and the last one out,” he said.

Meanwhile, his last picture was of his whole family—his wife Marian Rivera, their children Zia and Sixto, and their dog—relaxing together in their swimsuits. “Dreams do come true, even at forty two. Never give up,” he wrote.
