The feud between the Barrettos has yet to be resolved as evidenced by Claudine’s latest quip against her niece Julia.
On a recent photo with mom Inday that Claudine shared on Instagram, a fan went on the comments section to ask who she thinks is the better actress, Julia Barretto or Julia Montes who just came back from her showbiz hiatus. Claudine answered with conviction: “JULIA MONTES OF COURSE.”
Another Instagram user then asked her, “Is that an honest answer or just because you [are] still mad [at] your own niece?”
Claudine replied, “sweetheart BOTH.”
It is known that Claudine and Gretchen have yet to reconcile with their sister Marjorie and her children. The three have long been in a feud with each other and you can read all about the history of it here.
Their personal vendetta against each other escalated during the late Barretto patriarch’s wake last October during which they had engaged in a physical squabble after Marjorie allegedly refused the request of President Duterte, who had visited the wake, for her to make amends in the meantime with her sisters.
