It’s been about a week since Angkas was ordered to stop operations. The LTFRB claims that the option is too dangerous for commuters. It relies on a law stating that two-wheeled vehicles cannot be used for hire.
Despite that, Angkas has been putting up a good fight. From a motorcade to a free concert, they are pulling out all the stops to battle it.
They call it a “thanksgiving concert”, probably as a way to show thanks to all its loyal users so far. Especially for those who have continued to support them in all their efforts against the LTFRB. The caption reads: “Take a stand and show your support, mga panget! Walang magsa-stampede, ha? #AngkasForever”
It’s happening on December 22 (Saturday) in Quezon City Memorial Circle from 5 pm onwards for anyone interested. It looks like it’s going to be quite the lineup! From Nadine Lustre to Ex Battalion and even Donnalyn Bartolome, they seem to be going for all sorts of crowds.
