On Earth Day 2010, Pipino Vegetarian was launched as a six-item vegan menu under Pino Restaurant, catering to its growing health-conscious, senior-citizen and vegetarian-lifestyle customers. Six months later, Pinoโs Chef Edward Bugia, Ms. Star Jose, and PJ Lanot, with PJ’s vegetarian wife Alessa, opened a stand-alone creative Pinoy, 100%-vegan restaurant.
