Lighthouse Marina Resort: The ‘Suite’-est Subic Experience!

Lighthouse Marina Resort Subic

The Wondertower Creative team!

Mr. Avecilla shared that the hotel, built in 2006, is  really “nautical” in nature. The iconic lighthouse serves its purpose to guide the ships and boats to rest calmly near the shores of Subic Bay. Ranked #1 out of 17 Subic hotels by a known travel site, they do not just provide top-notch services for Subic Freeport Zone business executives and frequent tourists, but they also offer transients a new perspective of the Subic Bay: that it’s not just about the popular food trip destinations, zoos and waterparks, but that it also has many undiscovered gems.

The Camara Island, Capones Island and Mount Balingkilat are just three of among the many undiscovered paradises near Subic Bay. At Capones Island, just a 40-minute long drive from Lighthouse Marina Resort, lies one of the oldest lighthouses in the Philippines. Also, you can take amazing rare panoramic shots of landscapes at the Camara Island and Mount Balingkilat by arranging a tour with the Lighthouse Marina to these unique Subic destinations.

There was also one saying that has been stuck on my mind during our inspiring meeting with them: “take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time”. This is the mountainer’s creed that they want to impart to their touring guests. Check out how they promote this with their “Pure Shores” video at  https://vimeo.com/94775864.

Furthermore, the Lighthouse Marina is more often chosen as a romantic destination by many, making it a top choice for weddings. Check out this awesome video package prepared by the Wondertower Creative for one of the weddings held at the resort: https://vimeo.com/83774450

Our meeting with Sir Zedric and the Wondertower Creative team was such an inspiring one, it made us even more excited to personally experience part of Subic Bay’s beauty. With that, we hopped aboard a sunset cruise to see some of the attractions near the Lighthouse!

After the memorable sunset cruise, we finally got a taste of what the Sands Grill and Resto has to offer! For dinner, we tried out two of their signature dishes: Sinigang na Hipon and  Chicken Kebab.

Lighthouse Marina Resort SubicMY FAVORITE. Sands Grill’s Chicken Kebab is a kebab different from the rest, especially when its juicy grilled pieces of chicken meat are dipped into their flavorful sour cream sauce.
